The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 £ per month.
As an apprentice working with other members of the Digital team, you will receive on-the-job training and develop your skills to provide IT support to a medium-large sized organisation. You will study different avenues of IT, digital and computing technologies while working alongside a like-minded team, aiming to deliver top quality customer service and assist with technical fault resolution for colleagues at Devon Air Ambulance (DAA).
You will need excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills, including the ability to interpret ICT terminology for people who are not familiar with technological language. You must be able to clearly manage expectations and communicate priorities as agreed by the IT team, adapting instructions to suit the audience to elevate the skills of colleagues across the DAA community. A driving licence and/or access to transport is required due to travel across Devon.
Responsibilities- Provide on-the-job IT support within a Digital team context.
- Assist in fault resolution and customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Interpret ICT terminology for non-technical users and tailor communication to the audience.
- Manage expectations and communicate IT priorities as directed by the IT team.
- Travel across Devon as required.
- Driving licence and/or access to transport for regional travel.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical peers.
- Ability to adapt instructions to different audiences to improve digital system use.
- DBS check and references may be required due to the nature of the role.

SalarySalary: Apprenticeship rate for relevant age
16-18 years: £7.55 per hour; £14,762.14 per annum
19+ and in first year: £7.55 per hour; £14,762.14 per annum
19+ and completed first year: Real Living Wage: £12.60 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour on 1st May; £24,636.15 per annum, rising to £26,298.11 per annum on 1st May 2026
