We’re working with a retailer that’s scaling fast – and they’re making their first ever DevOps Engineer hire .

This is a real opportunity to take ownership. You’ll set the standards, shape the tools, and build the DevOps function from the ground up, with no legacy processes and no red tape slowing you down.

You'll have a clear overview of the full platform and real influence from day one.

They're building a world-class platform to handle scale, improve performance, and strengthen security – and DevOps is a huge part of that vision.

The tech stack includes:

AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Linux, and Cloudflare – with full flexibility to introduce new ideas, better tooling, and new ways of working.

You’ll work closely with product, development, and security teams, helping to automate infrastructure, improve observability, and drive uptime across a high-traffic, consumer-facing platform.

The culture is flat and fast-moving – no micromanagement, no politics. Just smart people solving real problems at scale.

What they’re looking for:

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
• Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
• Strong understanding of Linux systems
• Bonus points if you have experience with Cloudflare or web security
