About the Position
The Senior Manager of Vendor Oversight leads ISOC’s enterprise-wide vendor governance and third-party oversight. This role oversees vendors and processes at all stages of the vendor lifecycle, including onboarding and performance management, supporting ISOC’s growing operational reliance on external partners. This position is responsible for ensuring vendor compliance and performance and providing cross-functional alignment across Legal, Finance, and Programmatic teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sourcing Assistance: Provide assistance to sourcing processes: Guide and assist staff throughout the organization on sourcing best practices, including RFP and vendor evaluations. Analyze contract and request data to identify trends, drive sourcing strategy, and identify cost-savings. Optimize workflows: Recommend policy and threshold changes to streamline processes and reduce burden.
- Vendor Management Oversight: Identify process gaps and propose procurement and vendor management solutions in order to improve spend, performance, and risk management. Review vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), monitor vendor performance against them, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and identify issues. Conduct market scans for innovative vendor solutions and identify opportunities to enhance vendor value.
- Policy & Governance: Implementation: review, implement, and maintain ISOC’s procurement and vendor management policies. Serve as subject matter expert for vendor management policy. Implement streamlined sourcing models and vendor thresholds. Guide teams through sourcing strategy for tactical vs. strategic vendor needs. Provide internal training, create resources, and guide teams on vendor management best practices.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Act as the primary escalation point for vendor disputes, non-performance, or compliance issues. Deliver executive-level reporting on vendor activity, spend, and performance.
Desired Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or sourcing.
- Strong experience with third-party risk management, contract lifecycle oversight, and policy governance.
- Proven track record building or leading a Vendor Management Office.
- Strong analytical and operational systems skills (Smartsheet, Box, Google Suite).
- Excellent communication, policy development, and cross-functional alignment.
