We are seeking a reliable and professional Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. We are seeking drivers for full time, part-time and term-time positions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance. This role involves transporting passengers along designated routes, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to community transportation services while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Duties

  • Safely operate buses along scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
  • Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance needs
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers using clear English
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure passenger safety at all times
  • Support in vehicle cleaning and minor repairs as required, utilising basic mechanical knowledge

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver or bus driver
  • Strong driving skills with a valid driver’s licence or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely over long distances and in various weather conditions
