The roleWe're looking for a proactive and highly organised qualified Management Accountant to join our growing UK finance team in London. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be close to the numbers and close to the business.
You'll work across the full finance cycle for multiple entities, from ledgers and reconciliations through to management accounts, statutory reporting and lender packs.
You'll also partner with operating teams, explaining what the numbers mean and helping them make better decisions.

What you'll doPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts for multiple entities and groups, including consolidationsPrepare annual statutory accounts and support the year-end auditPost journals, accruals and prepayments, and carry out balance sheet, inter company and bank reconciliationsPrepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow forecasts and variance analysis for management, boards, lenders and investorsProvide insight into portfolio performance, highlighting key trends, risks and opportunitiesSupport lender compliance reporting, covenant calculations and investor reporting packsReview supplier invoices, verify new suppliers (including CIS status) and prepare payments in line with approval policiesPrepare and submit VAT and CIS returns and prepare information packs for tax advisorsManage finance mailboxes, prepare board minutes and resolutions, and support internal audit reviewsHelp develop and improve finance systems, processes, controls and reportingWhat we're looking forQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Experience in a similar role within xohmjla property, real estate investment or asset managementStrong understanding of UK GAAPExperience preparing management accounts and financial statementsConfident with accounting systems and advanced Excel skillsHighly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindsetHow you'll workHands-on and self-motivated, taking real ownership of your work from start to finishCurious about the story behind the numbers and able to explain it clearly to non-finance colleaguesDependable when juggling competing deadlines across multiple entitiesConstructively challenging, quick to spot where a process could be simpler or a control tighterCommercially minded, calm under pressure and pragmatic
