Senior Technical Manager - Major Residential DevelopmentSouthall | 95,000 + packageI'm working with a well-established residential developer who are looking to bring an experienced Senior Technical Manager into their team to take a leading role on a major development in Southall.This is a substantial scheme of around 1,500 residential units, made up of multiple buildings and phases, so they are looking for someone who is comfortable operating at a senior level and managing the technical requirements of a large, complex development.Key responsibilities will include:Leading the technical function across a major 1,500-unit residential developmentManaging the design process from the current stage through to construction and deliveryCoordinating architects, engineers, consultants and specialist subcontractorsOverseeing design development, technical approvals and information releaseWorking closely with the development, commercial and construction teamsManaging technical risks and resolving design issues before they impact deliverySupporting the wider project team through procurement and mobilisationProviding technical leadership across multiple phases and buildingsManaging and mentoring more junior members of the technical team as the project progressesThe ideal candidate:Senior Technical Manager / Technical Manager with strong residential development experienceExperience working for a developer/client or a Tier 1 / Tier 2 main contractorStrong experience across large-scale, multi-phase residential schemesGood understanding of RC frame construction and design managementComfortable managing consultants and coordinating complex design informationBSR / Building Safety Act experience would be highly advantageousAble to operate at a senior level and take ownership of the technical functionThis is a sizeable project and a role that offers genuine scope and responsibility within a growing residential business.
