  • Review project appraisals, cost plans, and cashflows, approving drawdown requests where appropriate.
  • Conduct site visits and progress meetings to confirm build progress, quality, and programme.
  • Identify and manage construction-related risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with developers, contractors, and professional teams to ensure compliance with funding agreements.
  • Provide technical input into due diligence, valuations, and monitoring reports.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting on project performance and risk exposure.
  • Support origination and underwriting teams with technical advice on new deals.
  • Ensure all activity complies with internal policy, legal standards, and best practice.
About You:
  • Background in a construction consultancy, contractor (quantity surveyor, employer's agent, or project manager).
  • Strong experience across residential new build and refurbishment projects up to £5m build cost.
  • Solid understanding of construction sites, project lifecycles, and technical documentation.
  • Proven team management or leadership experience.
  • Excellent communicator with confidence in managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Commercially aware with strong analytical and risk management skills.
  • MRICS or MCIOB preferred, but not essential.
What's on Offer:
  • Competitive salary.
  • Strong performance-related bonus.

  • Opportunity to join a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organisation with real impact in UK property development finance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Background in construction consultancy or main contracting (quantity surveyor, project manager, or employer's agent).
  • Strong experience delivering or overseeing residential new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Good understanding of construction sites, project lifecycles, and technical documentation.
  • Experience reviewing cost plans, development appraisals, and project cashflows.
  • Ability to identify and manage construction and delivery risks.
  • Proven leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with developers, contractors, and consultants.
