I\’m working with a multi-award-winning interior design and home staging business based in Twickenham, known for its premium brand, fast growth, and creative culture. Following sustained success (featured in The Times, Channel 4\’s Selling Super Homes, and a long list of design awards), they\’re now hiring a Senior Bookkeeper to support their Head of Finance and help elevate the finance function.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 5-8 years\’ experience in a finance role who\’s ready for a step up – someone detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and excited to be part of a design-led, entrepreneurial environment.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Preparing monthly management accounts and draft year-end accounts
- Overseeing day-to-day finance operations across AP/AR, VAT, and credit control
- Monitoring cashflow and supporting with supplier payments and reconciliations
- Working closely with the Head of Finance, as well as liaising with HMRC and external partners
- Managing Xero and related financial apps with a keen eye for process improvement
- Supporting project-based finance tracking and internal reporting
What They\’re Looking For
- 5-8 years\’ experience in a bookkeeping or finance support role
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent bookkeeping qualification
- Strong Xero experience (essential)
- Familiarity with AP/AR, VAT returns, cashflow management, and reconciliations
- Great attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a positive outlook
- Ideally, some exposure to project-based businesses (e.g., design, property, construction)
