We're working with a fast-growing, private equity‑backed Build‑to‑Rent operator that is expanding rapidly across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Resident Services Manager to oversee schemes across Morecambe and Accrington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in residential lettings, property management, estates management or Build‑to‑Rent who thrives in a customer‑focused environment and enjoys taking ownership of their developments.

As Resident Services Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional resident experience across a portfolio of suburban rental homes. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining lettings, tenancy management, estates oversight and resident engagement. You’ll act as the face of the developments, building strong relationships with residents, contractors and local stakeholders while ensuring homes and communal areas are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the full resident journey from enquiry through to move‑in and tenancy renewal
  • Conducting property viewings and supporting lettings activity to minimise voids
  • Completing tenancy agreements, inventories, check‑ins and check‑outs
  • Carrying out regular property inspections and managing tenancy compliance
  • Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance works with contractors
  • Supporting resident retention initiatives and community engagement activity
  • Performing regular estate inspections and ensuring developments remain well presented
  • Managing handovers of newly completed or refurbished homes
  • Building relationships with local community groups, councils and external stakeholders
  • Supporting rent collection processes and resolving resident queries professionally
About You

The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and customer‑focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a busy operational portfolio. You will ideally have:

  • Experience within residential property management, lettings, Build‑to‑Rent or estates management
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy processes including check‑ins, inventories and inspections
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of developments
  • A solutions‑focused approach with strong conflict resolution skills
  • Good IT skills and confidence using property management systems
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Knowledge of current residential legislation and the evolving rental sector would be advantageous.
