Job Description: Property Manager
About the Company:
My client is a fiercely growing property agency based in Canary Wharf. Established three years ago, the company specialises in managing a portfolio of around 100 residential properties, primarily apartments located in the Canary Wharf area.
Role Overview:
My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to join their close nit team. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring the smooth operation of property management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of 100 residential properties, mainly apartments, around Canary Wharf.
- Liaise with tenants and landlords to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage property maintenance, including coordinating with contractors and overseeing repairs.
- Handle rent arrears, ensuring timely payments and agreements.
- Conduct some property inspections, with the help of a third-party contractor for check-ins and check-outs and some inspections.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and local property laws, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations.
- You will have an administrator who handles the referencing, tenancy agreements, and compliance tasks.
- Use Alto as the CRM system for managing property portfolios and client interactions.
- Provide advice to landlords and tenants on relevant legislation and ensure properties are managed in line with ARLA standards.
Requirements:
- Ideally, ARLA qualified (or a strong understanding of current property laws and regulations).
- Previous experience in residential property management.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with landlords and tenants.
- A driving license is desirable but not essential.
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese would be an advantage due to the client base.
- Experience using Alto or other CRM systems is preferred.
- Competitive salary ranging from Β£37,000 to Β£40,000.
