A proud, independent boutique estate agency is seeking a Property Manager to join its Maida Vale office and take ownership of a portfolio of around 70 prime residential properties across North West London.
The agency offers luxury sales, lettings and full-service property management, and is trusted by homeowners, landlords and investors for its discretion, local insight and personal approach.
It combines big-firm expertise with the care and attention of a boutique.
Why this role stands out
Property management here is about giving landlords genuine peace of mind: preserving the value of their homes, staying ahead of legislation and handling every detail with integrity.
With inspections and inventories handled by trusted external providers, your focus is on progressing tenancies.
A portfolio of around 70 properties means you can deliver the consistently high level of service clients expect, getting to know each home and landlord personally.
The office pairs high standards with a relaxed atmosphere: a close team, a resident office dog, and weekends that stay your own.
Responsibilities
- Managing around 70 prime homes as the main contact for landlords and tenants
- Progressing tenancies: referencing, right to rent, tenancy agreements and move-in funds
- Managing rent collection and arrears, and rent reviews through Section 13 notices
- Booking inspections, inventories, check-ins and check-outs with external providers
- Arranging maintenance and repairs through trusted contractors
- Keeping properties compliant, from gas safety, EICRs, EPCs and alarms to the Renters' Rights Act
- Maintaining accurate records on the property management systems
What we're looking for
- One to two years' experience in property management, tenancy progression or lettings administration
- Ideally based locally, with knowledge of the North West London market
- Working knowledge of the Renters' Rights Act, including Section 8 and Section 13 notices
- A friendly, professional communicator
- Highly organised, able to multitask and coordinate appointments
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with property software; Reapit, Pay Prop or Fixflo experience is helpful
- A team player who fits into a close office, with a calm, proactive approach
An ARLA Propertymark qualification would be a bonus. Junior candidates are very welcome to apply.
- What's on offer
- Discretionary bonus
- A relaxed office, complete with its own office dog
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm, with weekends free
- A manageable portfolio that allows a high standard of service
- Experience managing prime homes across North West London
- A close, boutique team with a strong local reputation
We are an equal opportunities recruiter, valuing diversity and inclusion and welcoming applications from all suitably qualified individuals, regardless of background.
