Job Title: Property Manager
Location: Regents Park, London
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience) plus Christmas bonus
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (flexibility for shorter hours considered)
Holidays: 4 weeks + bank holidays + office closed between Christmas and New Year (c. 30 days in total)
About the Role
My client is seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join their close-knit team as an experienced Property Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a successful boutique lettings agency that prioritises quality over volume in the core and prime London market.
Their established portfolio spans across prestigious areas including Marylebone, Primrose Hill, Regents Park, St Johns Wood, and Hampstead. They work with a diverse client base, serving predominantly UK landlords alongside around 30% of the portfolio being overseas investors.
You will be part of a small, collaborative team where everyone supports one another and contributes across different areas of the business.
They have beautiful offices feature excellent amenities including a gym with shower facilities, a stunning kitchen, and comfortable spaces to connect and interact with colleagues in break time.
Key Responsibilities
- They currently have around 80 properties under management which will be split between two property managers.
- First point of contact for Landlord and Tenant queries and maintenance issues
- Arranging safety checks and keeping records up to date
- Arranging repairs and organising quotations as necessary
- Instructing, overseeing and signing off repairs, maintenance and regular servicing of equipment
- Processing of supplier invoices
- Organising all pre Tenancy works, inventory, check in and check out appointments
- Writing to utility companies at the start and end of Tenancies
- Visiting properties on a regular basis, typing up visit reports with photographs and arranging any remedial works as necessary
- Managing dilapidations schedules, agreeing deposit returns with both parties and managing disputed deposits via the TDS adjudication process
- Any other ad hoc duties as needed within the Lettings team
Key Skills:
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- 2+ years experience as a Property Manager
- Hands on experience carrying out property visits and checking repairs
- With the upcoming changes to Renters Reform and Licensing they are looking of someone who can also assist where required in the upcoming changes.
About You
- Previous property management experience is essential
- Experience working within the Prime London market is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Reapit software would be advantageous
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive approach
- Comfortable working in a small, dynamic office environment
- Happy to be office-based full-time (Monday to Friday)
- Within a 30-45 minute commute of Regents Park
