Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee construction and refurbishment projects for our clients hotel portfolio across Spain. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to work independently while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of hotel construction and refurbishment projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while maintaining compliance with Spanish building regulations and hospitality industry standards. Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of project management experience specifically in hospitality construction, including hotels, resorts, or similar accommodation facilities. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction and refurbishment projects within the hospitality sector. Strong understanding of hotel operational requirements, guest experience considerations, and industry-specific building standards. Excellent independent working capabilities with demonstrated ability to make autonomous decisions and solve complex problems without constant supervision.
Travel & Working Conditions
This position requires extensive travel throughout Spain. Successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent overnight stays and working across different regions.
