b Overview /b p In this role you lead Sugar House Island’s ongoing mixed-use development, guiding masterplanning and delivery across phases. You shape strategy, secure planning consents, and manage complex appraisals to optimise viability and returns. You work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Vastint’s long-term development approach. You will operate at the nexus of strategy, design, and delivery to shape a landmark regeneration project in Stratford. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead the development of multiple mixed-use phases within the Sugar House Island masterplan /li li Shape masterplanning and development strategy to align with market conditions and commercial objectives /li li Negotiate planning consents, Section 106 agreements, and planning obligations with authorities and stakeholders /li li Analyse target markets and advise on product mix and development strategy across uses /li li Prepare and manage multi-phase development appraisals, assessing viability, costs, revenues, and sensitivities /li li Lead projects through design, planning, procurement, construction and handover /li li Manage development programmes, budgets, risks and commercial performance /li li Lead internal and external project teams, consultants and contractors /li li Act as senior client representative throughout the development lifecycle /li li Report progress, commercial performance and key risks to senior leadership /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven track record delivering large-scale mixed-use regeneration schemes /li li Experience in masterplanning and large-scale regeneration /li li Securing and negotiating planning consents and Section 106 agreements /li li Development strategy and target market analysis /li li Building and managing multi-phase development appraisals /li li Commercial viability and development risk /li li Leading complex projects through full development lifecycle /li li Managing senior stakeholders, consultants, local authorities and delivery partners /li /ul ul li Stakeholder management /li li Leadership and team coordination /li li Strategic thinking and problem solving /li li Masterplanning /li li Development appraisals and viability modelling /li li Market analysis and product mix planning /li /ul
