b Overview /b p In this role you will bring robust architectural input to interiors-led projects, ensuring designs are buildable, compliant and well considered. You work closely with interior designers to advance concepts from concept through technical resolution, with a focus on education and SEND refurbishments. You balance creativity with regulatory compliance and practical delivery, supporting a collaborative, growth-oriented practice. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Collaborate with interior designers to develop concepts into coordinated, technically resolved designs /li li Review and develop drawings and technical information for buildability /li li Apply Building Regulations, statutory requirements and standards to ensure safety and fitness for purpose /li li Assess existing buildings for refurbishment, adaptation and change of use /li li Support education and SEND projects with attention to technical, accessibility and safety needs /li li Incorporate fire and life safety considerations into design and process /li li Identify and address technical risks early to protect programme and budget /li li Coordinate information with clients, consultants, contractors and project team /li li Protect design intent while balancing creativity, compliance, practicality and commercial realities /li li Share knowledge across interior design, project management and cost teams and mentor junior colleagues /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li At least 3 years post-qualification experience /li li Experience in the education sector including SEND settings /li li Track record on refurbishment and existing-building projects /li li Enthusiasm for interior design and interiors-led teams /li li Strong grasp of Building Regulations and compliance, including fire and life safety /li li Proficiency in producing, reviewing and coordinating technical information /li li Knowledge of listed building consent and full planning applications /li li Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp /li li Good eye for materials and detailing; understanding of how architecture and interiors relate /li li Clear, confident communication with clients, consultants, contractors and colleagues /li li Collaborative, pragmatic approach with strong attention to detail /li li Ability to operate across sectors and project types as the business grows /li /ul ul li clear communication /li li collaborative /li li detail-oriented /li li AutoCAD /li li SketchUp /li li Building Regulations /li /ul
