We're currently recruiting for a Property Management Associate on behalf of a rapidly growing residential property business in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with property management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and wants to be part of an ambitious and expanding organisation. The successful candidate will support the wider Property Management team in delivering a high-quality service to residents, ensuring compliance processes are maintained, repairs are managed efficiently, and customer queries are handled professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer & Tenant Support
    • Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
    • Respond to and redirect enquiries to the appropriate teams where required.
    • Arrange and manage resident appointments within agreed service levels.
  • Property Management & Compliance Administration
    • Maintain accurate property and tenant records across internal systems.
    • Coordinate inspections, maintenance requests and repair works with contractors and residents.
    • Prepare reports, correspondence and general property administration.
    • Ensure compliance documentation such as EICRs, Gas Safety Certificates, EPCs and Right to Rent records are accurate and up to date.
    • Log, monitor and close repair cases where appropriate.
    • Organise and archive documents securely and accurately.
  • Repairs, Maintenance & Contractor Coordination
    • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to arrange works, confirm access and obtain updates.
    • Monitor appointment completion and escalate delays or issues promptly.
    • Support Property Managers with tracking repair progress and outcomes.
  • Handover & Onboarding Support
    • Assist with setting up new properties on internal systems including SLM, Qube and FixFlo.
    • Support mobilisation and property handover activities across the wider business.
  • Billing & Administrative Support
    • Assist with supplier payments, invoices and utility or council tax billing.
    • Support rent account reviews and arrears administration where required.
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Work closely with teams across Property Management, Lettings, Customer Operations, Finance and Portfolio Management.
    • Build strong working relationships internally and with external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Essential
    • Minimum 2 years' experience within residential property management.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Comfortable managing phone and email enquiries in a busy environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
    • Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Desirable
    • Experience within property management or lettings.
    • Familiarity with systems such as SLM, FixFlo or Qube.
    • Understanding of landlord compliance and housing standards.
