Overview
As Senior Site Engineer on a large residential RC frame scheme in South London, you will own the engineering delivery across the project.
You will set out and supervise RC frame works, ensure QA and drawings conformance, and coordinate with the site management and subcontractors.
You’ll perform inspections, surveys and site measurements, resolve technical queries, and maintain accurate records to keep the programme on track.
This long-term role offers leadership over engineering packages within a sizeable project team and a chance to shape delivery on a major residential development.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for engineering delivery across the project
- Set out and oversee RC Frame and structural works
- Manage quality and ensure works align with drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with Site and Project Management teams
- Coordinate with subcontractors and engineering teams
- Perform inspections, surveys and site measurements
- Assist with technical queries and issue resolution on site
- Maintain accurate site records and ensure delivery to programme
- Key requirements
- Strong experience as a Site Engineer within a main contractor environment
- Experience on large-scale residential or similarly complex projects
- RC Frame experience is essential
- Good understanding of setting out, QA and technical drawings
- Comfortable working with subcontractors and the wider site team
- Ability to work independently and own engineering packages
- Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent engineering qualification preferred
