Overview
In this role you will prepare and consolidate management accounts across multiple entities, support statutory reporting and lender packs, and provide clear financial insights to enable business decisions. You will partner with operating teams to translate numbers into action, driving continuous improvement in finance processes. You work hands-on in a growing UK finance team, shaping how finance operates as the company scales. Responsibilities
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for multiple entities with consolidations
- Prepare statutory accounts and support year-end audit
- Post journals, accruals, prepayments, and perform balance sheet, inter-company, and bank reconciliations
- Develop budgets/forecasts and cash flow projections with variance analysis for stakeholders
- Analyze portfolio performance, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities
- Support lender compliance reporting, covenant calculations and investor packs
- Review supplier invoices, verify new suppliers (CIS status) and process payments
- Prepare VAT and CIS returns and assemble information for tax advisors
- Manage finance mailboxes, board minutes/resolutions, and assist internal audit
- Contribute to development and improvement of finance systems, controls and reporting
Key requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in property, real estate investment or asset management
- Strong UK GAAP knowledge
- Experience producing management accounts and financial statements
- Confident with accounting systems and advanced Excel
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and deadline management
