The predicted salary is between 51750 - 63250 Β£ per year.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Qualified Quantity Surveyor with a background in residential, living or mixed-use projects who wants to play a key role across the full development lifecycle - from acquisition and appraisal through to planning, delivery and completion.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, contractors and investors on a varied pipeline of projects across London.
The Role
- Provide quantity surveying and commercial support across residential and mixed-use development projects
- Review construction costs, budgets, procurement and value engineering opportunities
- Support development appraisals, feasibility studies and viability assessments
- Assess acquisition opportunities including development costs, planning potential and development constraints
- Support due diligence and the review of project costs and development assumptions
- Coordinate with external consultants, contractors and project teams
- Monitor programme, budgets, risks and development milestones
- Assist with procurement, tendering and contractor appointments
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and funding partners
Requirements
- Background in Quantity Surveying, either within a consultancy, developer or contractor environment
- Assistant QS or Qualified QS level
- Experience across residential, living or mixed-use projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement and commercial management
- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Surveying, Construction or related discipline
- MRICS beneficial but not essential
- Experience within the London residential or mixed-use market preferred
