Our client is a construction business within the real estate space, focusing on commercial and student accommodation, with some residential and hospitality projects. With a large number of live projects and a strong pipeline, they are looking to grow the communications team.
We're seeking an experienced Communications & Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of communications and marketing within a fast-paced, project-led organisation. Reporting to the Communications Director, you'll act as the operational lead for the communications function, managing activity, leading a small team and ensuring all outputs are aligned with brand standards, company culture and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities:- Oversee internal and external communications across multiple channels, including leading a regular staff update and working with teams across the business to plan content, maintain editorial quality and drive engagement.
- Manage social media activity across LinkedIn and Instagram, planning and writing content, sourcing strong visual assets and using analytics to improve performance.
- Identify and develop compelling stories around people, projects and milestones, translating complex information into clear, engaging communications.
- Keep website content accurate and on-brand, and plan and deliver internal, social and project-related events, managing logistics, budgets and communications to ensure a high-quality experience.
- Manage workloads and priorities within the communications function, providing structure, support and clear direction.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, project teams and external suppliers, acting as a central point of contact for communications and marketing activity.
- As the day-to-day guardian of the brand, ensure consistency and quality across all communications, from written content and imagery to events and digital platforms.
About you: You'll be a confident, organised and creative communications professional with strong writing and storytelling skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You're comfortable working with senior stakeholders and operational teams, and enjoy working in a project-based environment. Experience in construction and property is required.
