The Team: The successful candidate will join a high-performing Investment & Valuations team; supporting senior leadership on investment underwriting, quarterly valuations, and strategic market analysis. This role reports directly to the Investment & Valuations Manager and offers progression into leading the department, management experience of Analysts would be required.
The Role: Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Residential Real Estate Investment & Valuation specialist to support the assessment, execution, and monitoring of investment opportunities. The role will be hands-on involving financial modelling, valuation work, market research, and the preparation of clear and insightful presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building models from scratch (Excel, Not using Argus) - ESSENTIAL
- Preparation of Capital structure analyses, debt sizing, and waterfall models for joint ventures and acquisitions
- Progression into a leadership position managing a team of Analysts and department.
- Valuation & Research
- Investment Documentation & Support
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Presentation & Reporting
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
About You: Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or other relevant
- 4+ years' experience in investment analysis, real estate, corporate finance, or consulting
- Advanced Excel skills (modelling, analytics, dynamic formulas)
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create compelling presentations
- Solid understanding of valuation techniques, DCF analysis, and benchmarking
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Self-motivated, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
