As Health & Safety Manager, you'll be the go-to H&S lead across multiple live projects, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and maintaining the highest safety standards from design through to handover. You'll work closely with project teams, contractors, and consultants, embedding a positive safety culture while keeping projects on track and minimising risk.

- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure CDM 2015 compliance and manage Principal Designer/Principal Contractor appointments

- Chair health and safety meetings and produce comprehensive reports
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions
- Deliver toolbox talks and inductions to site teams
- Liaise with HSE and other regulatory bodies as required
- Provide H&S input during design stages to mitigate risks early
- NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) - minimum NEBOSH General Certificate
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager or Advisor in construction

- Experience working across mixed-use, residential, or commercial developments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong site presence
- Full UK driving licence
- IOSH or IIRSM membership
- Experience working for a developer or main contractor
- Knowledge of Building Safety Act and BSR requirements
- First Aid at Work qualification
- Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience

- Car allowance or company vehicle (negotiable)
- Professional development: Support for further qualifications and CPD
- Varied portfolio: Exposure to residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes
- Collaborative culture: Work with experienced project teams in a supportive environment
We're looking for someone who is technically strong but also pragmatic - someone who can balance compliance with keeping projects moving. You'll be confident challenging contractors and design teams when needed, but equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in on site. If you're passionate about safety, enjoy working across diverse projects, and want to make a real impact with a growing developer, we'd love to hear from you.
