We’re working with a growing, project‑led property business that has recently secured multi‑year funding and is now strengthening its senior finance capability. This is a step‑change hire for the business, upgrading to Financial Controller to reflect the level of ownership and commercial impact required.
Opportunity
The Financial Controller will take full responsibility for the finance function, running it day‑to‑day and improving its long‑term operation. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, acting as a true commercial partner rather than a back‑office function.
Key responsibilities
- End‑to‑end ownership of the finance function
- Oversight of transactional finance and outsourced bookkeeping
- Project‑based accounting, budgeting and profitability tracking
- Cashflow forecasting and financial modelling
- Board reporting and senior stakeholder reporting
- FP&A, forecasting and commercial analysis
- Leading a finance transformation – redesigning reporting, processes and models
- Improving how finance supports and interacts with wider teams
- Structured handover period with the current Finance Director, followed by independent control.
