We’re recruiting for a Maintenance Operative for a student accommodation property in Cambridge. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure the building is safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents.
Part Time or Full Time options available.
Salary: GBP13.31 - GBP13.31 per hour
What you’ll do
- Carry out routine checks (plant rooms, fire exits, panels, emergency lighting)
- Support with reactive and planned maintenance across plumbing, electrics, and general repairs
- Keep service areas tidy, secure, and safe
- Supervise contractors and ensure works meet required standards
- Complete compliance checks, including water testing and equipment monitoring
- Assist with student move-ins, move-outs, and seasonal changeovers
