I'm working exclusively with one of the UK's most established and respected Build to Rent operators, who have built an impressive national portfolio of high-quality residential schemes. As they continue to expand their operations, they're seeking an experienced Building Safety Manager to join their team and take ownership of safety, compliance, and regulatory standards across their entire portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for a building safety professional to make a real impact within a market-leading organisation that truly values safety excellence and regulatory compliance.
The Role
As Building Safety Manager, you'll be the central point of responsibility for all building safety, health and safety, and compliance matters across the company's national BTR portfolio. This is a varied and engaging role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead building safety compliance across the full portfolio of BTR schemes
- Manage and coordinate health and safety protocols and procedures
- Conduct regular site visits and safety audits across multiple locations
- Ensure full compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and all relevant regulations
- Develop and implement safety management systems and procedures
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and third-party contractors
- Provide safety training and guidance to on-site teams
- Manage incident reporting and investigation processes
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and records
- Travel to head office in London for team meetings and strategic planning
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in building safety management, ideally within residential property or BTR
- Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and current fire safety regulations
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety certification
