I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to join a well-established Tier 2 main contractor on a new residential development in South London. The scheme is a large-scale RC Frame development comprising three blocks with brick façade. Demolition works are due to commence shortly, with the main construction programme starting in early 2027 and running through to 2030. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer who is looking to take a senior role within a sizeable project team and have responsibility across the engineering delivery of the scheme.
The role:
- Take responsibility for engineering delivery across the project
- Set out and oversee RC Frame and structural works
- Manage quality and ensure works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
- Work closely with the Site and Project Management teams
- Coordinate with subcontractors and engineering teams
- Carry out inspections, surveys and site measurements
- Assist with technical queries and resolving issues on site
- Maintain accurate site records and ensure works are delivered to programme

- Strong experience as a Site Engineer within a main contractor environment
- Experience working on large-scale residential or similarly complex projects
- RC Frame experience is essential
- Good understanding of setting out, QA and technical drawings
- Comfortable working closely with subcontractors and the wider site team
- Able to work independently and take ownership of engineering packages
- Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent engineering qualification preferred
