A leading real estate operator managing 9,000+ UK units is hiring a Senior Client Reporting Accountant to take ownership of institutional investor reporting. This is a technically led, client facing reporting role. It is not an FP&A forecasting position and it is not a pure back office processing job. It sits in the middle - structured financial reporting with analytical depth and direct investor exposure.
The Role
- Own quarterly and annual financial reporting for institutional real estate clients
- Prepare and review P&L and balance sheet reporting
- Analyse variances and resolve client queries
- Liaise directly with auditors during year end
- Interrogate trial balances and posting logic
- Take accountability for specific client portfolios
The core of the role is accurate, high quality financial reporting under deadlines, combined with the ability to explain and defend the numbers.
The Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- 1-3 years PQE
- Practice trained (small or mid tier ideal) with exposure to accounts preparation and audit
- Or early into an industry move within real estate, property or asset management
- Confident communicating with clients and senior stakeholders
- Technically strong with a commercial mindset
- Real estate exposure is advantageous but not essential. The key requirement is the ability to operate independently, resolve problems and communicate clearly.
Why Consider It
- Direct exposure to major institutional investors
- Ownership of client portfolios from day one
- Strong technical grounding within industry
- Growing platform with long term capital backing
If you are 1-3 years PQE and want your move into industry to strengthen your technical credibility while gaining investor exposure, this is worth a conversation.
