Your role will be to support prospective residents through that process with clarity, empathy, and professionalism, while delivering strong occupancy results.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the community, its lifestyle, and services to prospective residents and their families. You will manage the full sales journey, from initial enquiry through to move-in, using a prospect-centred approach. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and a high-quality customer experience, while maintaining a clear focus on sales targets and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive occupancy through effective sales planning and relationship management
- Build trust with prospects and families by understanding their needs, concerns, and priorities
- Manage a longer sales cycle with patience and persistence
- Deliver tailored solutions rather than one-size-fits-all presentations
- Handle objections with professionalism and emotional awareness
- Collaborate with marketing and community teams to support lead generation and conversion
- Track progress against sales targets and report on performance
About You
You will be a confident and capable sales professional with strong interpersonal skills and a measured, consultative approach. We’re looking for somebody who can demonstrate:
- Genuine interest in later living and customer-focused sales
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage sensitive conversations
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail
- Creativity in approach, with the ability to adapt messaging to individual prospects
