Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Aldgate, London
Salary: £62,000 – £65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join a prestigious, high-end 160-unit Build-to-Rent development in Aldgate. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a luxury residential community, ensuring that the building and its services are maintained to the highest standards. You will report directly into the General Manager and work closely with a dedicated team, including a Maintenance Technician and Housekeeper.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage the Maintenance Technician and Housekeeper to ensure the day-to-day operations of the building run smoothly and efficiently.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all health, safety, and compliance standards are upheld in line with industry regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to guarantee the property remains fully compliant.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Take a hands-on approach in executing and overseeing PPM tasks, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and on schedule.
- Building and Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the building\’s common areas, amenities, and residential units, ensuring they remain in pristine condition.
- Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party contractors, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Resident Relations: Serve as a key point of contact for residents, addressing any maintenance concerns or queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Reporting and Budget Oversight: Provide regular updates to the General Manager on the status of facilities management, maintenance activities, and budget management.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Proven experience in Facilities Management, ideally within high-end residential or commercial properties. Strong knowledge of compliance standards and hands-on experience with PPM tasks is essential.
- Leadership: Experience managing and motivating a small team. The ability to collaborate effectively with the General Manager and other staff.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.), with the capability to assist with or lead PPM tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and resolve maintenance and operational issues in a timely manner.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of building management.
