Beds: 483 beds across a single site Hintel are supporting a leading PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation) operator in the recruitment of a Maintenance Operative to work across a student accommodation site in Bristol. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a broad maintenance skill set who enjoys working in a fast-paced residential environment. Key Responsibilities Carrying out day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance tasks Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting/decorating works Responding to maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolution Completing room inspections, repairs and minor refurbishments Supporting health & safety compliance across sites Liaising with site teams and external contractors where required Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman or facilities role Good general maintenance knowledge (multi-skilled) Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach Understanding of health & safety procedures (desirable) What\’s on Offer Opportunity to work on a large PBSA sites Supportive operator and professional working environment Salary: £27,000 Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: In person
