The opportunity
You’ll take over a development in Alfold, starting with a handover alongside the current consultant so you’re not thrown in cold. The site has plenty of stock to sell, so there’s real scope to make your mark. This suits someone who enjoys creating their own activity: chasing enquiries, booking viewings and building interest, not just greeting walk-ins.
You may also be asked to cover nearby sites, so some flexibility on location helps.
The practical bits
- Pay: £31,100 basic (£15-£18 per hour plus holiday pay, paid weekly)
- Hours: 9:30am to 5:00pm, 5 days a week
- Weekends: Weekend working is part of the role, usually with one weekend off in four
- Days off: Typically midweek, such as Tuesday and Wednesday
- Contract: Temporary to start, with the potential to move onto a longer-term contract
Where it could lead
If you move onto a longer-term contract, the package is strong. It includes a basic salary of up to £35,000, around £20,000 in commission potential, quarterly bonuses of up to £2,000, upgrade commission and site-specific incentives. You’d also get structured training, a team buddy, and a clear route into management. The business prefers to promote from within, and several new developments are launching across Surrey and Sussex.
