We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee works on a large industrial development project based in Slough. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, and ensuring works are delivered on programme and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily site activities and subcontractor management
- Ensuring health & safety compliance across site
- Managing programme and coordinating trades effectively
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress meetings
- Liaising with project management and reporting on progress
- Maintaining quality control and site standards
- Managing deliveries, logistics, and general site organisation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or commercial projects
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Valid SMSTS CSCS Black Card (or equivalent)
- First Aid at Work
- Ability to manage fast-paced site operations independently
Desirable:
- Experience delivering large-scale industrial/logistics schemes
- Strong knowledge of structural and fit-out packages
