Site Manager - Residential (Internals & Externals)
A leading residential developer is seeking a skilled and driven Site Manager to oversee the internal and external works of a 9-storey apartment block, forming part of a flagship mixed-use regeneration scheme. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile development with a company known for delivering high-quality homes and vibrant communities.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations across both internal fit-out and external facade packages, ensuring the block is delivered on programme, to specification, and in line with the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of internals and externals across a 9-storey residential block, ensuring alignment with build programme and sequencing strategy.
- Coordinate subcontractor packages to drive programme adherence and maintain quality across finishes, services, facades, and external works.
- Conduct regular inspections and sign-offs, ensuring compliance with design, specification, and building regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and manage quality assurance processes using Fieldview or a similar system.
- Collaborate closely with the wider site team and other departments including Technical, Commercial, and Customer Service.
- Proactively promote and uphold health & safety standards on site, supporting a culture of safety-first at all times.
- Monitor and manage material deliveries, stock control, and labour requirements.
- Attend and contribute to site meetings, subcontractor briefings, and handover planning sessions.
- Support the Project Manager in reporting on progress, resource needs, quality performance, and site presentation.
- Ensure plots are completed to a high standard and ready for handover, with minimal snagging and strong customer feedback.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, ideally with a focus on multi-storey apartment blocks.
- Strong knowledge of both internal fit-out and external envelope packages.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple subcontractor trades on a live site.
- Confident in using digital QA systems such as Fieldview or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Strong knowledge of current building regulations, NHBC standards, and health & safety legislation.
- Track record of maintaining site quality, programme control, and safety compliance.
- Experience managing works in a high-density urban development environment is desirable.
