About the opportunity
An established residential property management company, founded in 2004, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their Service Charge Accounts team. This organisation has built a reputation for delivering outstanding customer experiences whilst maintaining genuine care at the heart of everything they do. Responsibilities
- Prepare and load accurate annual service charge budgets for property portfolios
- Process billing for service charges, ground rent, and additional fees to leaseholders
- Prepare comprehensive year-end service charge accounts
- Collaborate with external accountants during account reviews and audits
- Manage utility and insurance recharges to leaseholders
- Handle tax administration and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support the Estate Management team with financial queries
Requirements
- Relevant accounting experience (service charge experience advantageous but not essential)
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Qube experience beneficial)
