About the RoleMy client is an independent, family-owned Private Office with a mixed portfolio of residential and commercial properties across Prime Central London and North London. The portfolio includes private holdings, block management, freeholds and a selection of external landlord instructions, with properties in locations such as Mayfair, Hampstead, Marylebone and Crouch End. The variety of the portfolio offers excellent exposure and long-term career development within the property industry.
As one of the few truly independent agencies remaining, my client combines the structure, systems and technology of a corporate agency with the personal, handsāon approach of an independent. This creates a genuinely unique working environment.
The North London office has recently been refurbished and offers a modern, professional yet friendly workspace. With a new Managing Director in place, the business has a strong mix of long-standing team members and experienced new hires, creating a collaborative environment where you will be working alongside capable, likeāminded professionals.
This Senior Property Manager role is pivotal to the business and will suit someone confident in managing a portfolio end-to-end, acting as the main point of contact and taking ownership of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the central point of contact for a designated property portfolio
Managing and resolving maintenance and general enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Proactively overseeing repairs, refurbishments and larger maintenance projects
Arranging and coordinating preātenancy works for new tenancies
Carrying out checkāins and checkāouts for a specific portfolio
Approving and signing off contractor invoices
Managing insurance claims, including processing claims, obtaining quotes and ensuring works are completedEnsuring all properties remain compliant with current legislation and safety requirements
Jointly managing the diary and workload of an internal maintenance team of two
Requirements
Proven experience as a Property Manager
Experience managing a portfolio autonomously and acting as a key point of contact
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Confident using property management and CRM systems
A proactive, solutionsāfocused mindset
A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely within a small, supportive team
