We are working with a growing residential real estate platform operating within the Build-to-Rent and Single Family Rental sector that is looking to appoint a Mobilisation Manager to support the operational onboarding of newly acquired homes into their portfolio. This is a key role responsible for leading the mobilisation of residential assets, ensuring properties transition smoothly from development or acquisition into fully operational homes. The role will work cross-functionally with teams including lettings, property management, finance, legal, IT and development, while also overseeing the management of property data, documentation and internal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational mobilisation of newly acquired residential homes into the portfolio
  • Manage mobilisation plans, project timelines, and risk registers to ensure smooth delivery
  • Coordinate internal teams including lettings, property management, finance, IT and legal
  • Act as the central point of communication across mobilisation projects
  • Oversee the structured onboarding and offboarding of homes within the portfolio
  • Manage property documentation including compliance certificates, drawings, manuals and accommodation schedules
  • Ensure accurate property and unit data management across internal systems
  • Oversee the rollout of operational technology including smart home devices and broadband connectivity
  • Manage purchase orders, procurement processes and associated documentation
  • Line manage a small team responsible for data administration and document control
  • Support reporting and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Continuously improve mobilisation processes and governance frameworks

About You

  • Experience in mobilisation, implementation or operational transitions within real estate
  • Background in Build-to-Rent, Single Family Rental, PBSA or residential development preferred
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail with experience managing data, systems and documentation
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members is desirable
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
