My client is a fast-growing furniture and interiors business specialising in high-end residential furnishing, developer show homes, multi-unit projects, and flexible furniture rental solutions. They work across prime and super-prime London residential - from boutique developments through to large-scale schemes. They have built a reputation for quality, speed, and the ability to deliver at scale without compromising on design.
They’re at an exciting point in their growth and are looking to bring in a senior business development manager who can open doors at the highest level and transact serious deals.
This is a senior, revenue generating role for someone already operating in the market. You’ll arrive with an established black book – developers, agents, architects, interior designers, relocation firms, and high-net-worth private clients – and the ability to convert those relationships into significant, repeat business. You won’t be building from scratch. You’ll walk in with connections and credibility, and translate them into high-value furnishing contracts, framework agreements with developers, and strategic partnerships that genuinely move the needle. This is a true hunter-farmer hybrid: you know how to open at board level, close large deals, and nurture those accounts into long-term revenue streams.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive a pipeline of high-value opportunities across super-prime residential, large-scale developer projects, and new-build schemes.
- Leverage your existing network to introduce my client to key decision makers and convert those introductions into contracted business.
- Negotiate and close complex, multi-unit furnishing packages and framework agreements, including phased delivery programmes across large developments.
- Identify and pursue new verticals and channels; serviced apartments, branded residences, and international buyers.
- Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and client entertaining.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales and leadership team to shape commercial strategy, pricing approach, and new service lines.
- Feed market intelligence back into the business to inform product, design, and operational decisions.
- Build and lead a pipeline reporting cadence, holding yourself and others accountable to commercial targets.
About you
- You have a proven track record of transacting high-value deals in luxury interiors, furniture, or a closely related premium product, and you know how to work a complex sales cycle.
- You bring an active, warm network of developer contacts, agents, and/or design professionals in the prime and super-prime London residential market.
- You understand how large residential developments are bought, specified, and delivered – you know who the decision-makers are and how to get in front of them.
- You’re commercially sharp: you can build a business case, negotiate terms, and structure deals that work for both sides.
- You operate with credibility and discretion.
- You’re entrepreneurial and self-directed; you don’t need a big team around you to perform, but you know how to bring others along when it matters.
- Experience selling to international clients, wealth managers, or family offices is a strong plus.
Why this role
- A growing brand with a real reputation for quality and reliability.
- An experienced, successful sales team where hard work, open communication, and collaboration are valued and rewarded.
- The freedom to shape your role, develop your own approach, and work to your full potential.
- The energy of a startup with the momentum of a proven business model.
- An uncapped commission structure designed to reward high performers seriously.
- Direct access to the founders and leadership – your ideas and relationships will shape the company.
- A product that genuinely competes at the top of the market, backed by the platform, operations, and design team to deliver on what you sell.
