A leading residential developer is seeking an experienced Senior Building Safety Manager to support the delivery and oversight of building safety compliance across a large London portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a building safety professional with strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act, higher-risk buildings, and residential compliance frameworks to join a well-established and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on building safety compliance across occupied residential developments
- Support Accountable Person duties and ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022
- Manage and review safety case reports and building assessment documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulators
- Oversee fire and structural safety risk management processes
- Ensure robust reporting, governance, and resident engagement procedures are in place
- Provide strategic guidance on building safety policies and operational improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior building safety or fire safety role
- Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and associated regulations
- Experience working with high-rise residential buildings / higher-risk buildings
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- NEBOSH Fire, IFE, CIOB, RICS or similar professional qualification preferred
