An established London property company managing some of the capital's most prestigious commercial and residential properties in Chelsea is seeking an accountant to join their finance team. This in-house position offers the rare opportunity to work directly for the estate rather than a managing agent, providing exposure to high-value property management across the iconic Chelsea portfolio including Sloane Street, Sloane Square and the King's Road.

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain the property database including lease agreements, tenant ledgers, and cashbook posting.
- Issue rent demands and manage ad-hoc charges for commercial and residential tenancies.
- Liaise with managing agents and maintain portfolio relationships.
- Process rent reviews, assignments, licences and break clauses.
- Monitor and respond to tenant queries via the accounts inbox.
- Support credit control activities and handle tenant communications.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis using Excel.
Requirements:
- Finance and property administration experience.
- Strong Excel, Word and Outlook proficiency with excellent data processing skills.
- Credit control experience including professional handling of difficult conversations.
- Experience with property management systems (MRI Horizon knowledge advantageous but not essential).
- Methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing to team objectives.
- Professional communication skills across all levels.
- High-value property experience ideal but not essential.
