A respected and growing construction contractor is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career while working alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on two live student accommodation schemes. The successful candidate will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, supporting the commercial delivery of fast-paced, high-value developments from procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the commercial management of two projects
  • Supporting subcontract procurement and package management
  • Preparing valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts
  • Assisting with subcontractor payments and variations
  • Monitoring project costs and helping maintain budget control
  • Supporting the preparation of final accounts
