The company
A major European real estate group with a commercial and residential portfolio across the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. Their London office opened in 2018 and has grown to around 80 people, with plenty of acquisition activity still going on. The role

  • Day-to-day support for UK users on laptops, mobiles, printers and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams and SharePoint), owning each issue through to a fix or the right escalation
  • Running joiners, movers and leavers with HR and line managers, from accounts and devices to IT inductions and getting kit back when people leave
  • Managing IT assets, mobile contracts and Teams telephony, keeping stock records accurate and checking deliveries before invoices are signed off
  • Working with suppliers on quotes, orders and faults, and preparing and tracking the annual IT budget
  • Making sure new software goes through the proper review and approval process before anyone buys or installs it
  • Raising and tracking access requests for business systems, including Yardi, and giving first-line support on them
  • Looking after the UK SharePoint intranet and supporting the office manager on access control, CCTV and door entry

About you

  • Solid experience in end-user IT support within a business setting
  • Hands-on Microsoft 365 knowledge, especially Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
  • Used to handling user accounts, permissions and starters and leavers
  • Organised, with good record keeping across assets, orders and approvals
  • Able to explain technical problems in plain English to non-technical colleagues
  • Yardi, Teams telephony, IT asset management or an ITIL or Microsoft certification would all help

  • Β£60,000 basic salary plus discretionary annual bonus
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Hybrid working, three days in the office and two from home
  • Salary sacrifice pension
  • Private medical insurance, group life cover and income protection
