Handyman - Temporary

Location: The Slate Yard, 7 Stanley Street, Salford, M3 5EX
Pay: £31,200 equivalent = £15.00 per hour
Contract: On-going
Start: ASAP

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Handyman to support a residential development in Salford on a temporary basis.

This would suit someone local to Salford/Manchester who is available at short notice and is looking for temporary work.

The Role

You’ll be supporting the site team with general maintenance, repairs and day-to-day tasks around the development. The work will be varied, so we’re looking for someone practical who is happy getting stuck in and can turn their hand to a range of jobs.

Duties may include:

• General handyman and maintenance tasks

• Basic repairs and upkeep around the development

• Minor decorating and making-good

• Moving materials, furniture and equipment when required

• Assisting with the general presentation and upkeep of communal areas

• Reporting any issues or repairs that require specialist attention

• Supporting the wider site team with ad-hoc tasks

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Practical, reliable and hardworking

• Confident carrying out general maintenance and repairs

• Comfortable working independently

• Flexible and happy to tackle a variety of tasks

• Available for temporary work

• Ideally local to Salford or the surrounding area

• Able to start quickly

You don't need to be a qualified tradesperson for this role, but you should be hands-on and confident with basic maintenance and repair work.
