This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in residential or mixed-use development who wants to play a key role across the full development lifecycle – from acquisition and appraisal through to planning, delivery and completion. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, contractors and investors on a varied pipeline of projects across London.
The Role
- Undertake development appraisals, feasibility studies and viability assessments
- Assess acquisition opportunities including planning potential and development constraints
- Support land acquisition negotiations and due diligence
- Coordinate external consultants including architects, planners and engineers
- Assist with planning applications and development strategy
- Monitor programme, budgets, risks and development milestones
- Review construction costs, procurement and value engineering opportunities
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and funding partners
Requirements
- Experience within property development, development consultancy or surveying
- Strong understanding of development appraisals and viability
- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Degree qualified in Real Estate, Surveying, Property Development or related discipline
- MRICS beneficial but not essential
- Residential or mixed-use development experience preferred
