  • We are seeking a Project Manager or

Senior Project Manager to join our clients growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious project professional with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects within the residential and/or hospitality sectors .

You will take ownership of project delivery from inception to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients while supporting the development of junior colleagues.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys taking responsibility, building lasting client relationships and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery
  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects from feasibility through to completion.
  • Manage all aspects of project management including programme, cost, risk, procurement and governance.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide clear strategic advice and practical solutions to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify project risks early and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present high-quality reports, programmes and project documentation.
  • Client Management
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact on assigned projects.
  • Understand client objectives and ensure project outcomes align with their business goals.
  • Deliver a consistently high level of client service that generates repeat business and referrals.
  • Leadership
  • Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
  • Share knowledge and promote best practice across the business.

  • Apply recognised project management principles across all stages of delivery.
  • Demonstrate excellent contract administration knowledge, including JCT and NEC contracts where appropriate.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practice.
  • Drive high standards of governance, reporting and project controls.
  • Business Contribution
  • Support the continued growth of the business through exceptional project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Contribute to improving internal processes, project management standards and resource planning.
  • Assist with bids, proposals and business development opportunities where appropriate.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Significant project management experience within a construction consultancy or client-side environment.
  • Proven experience delivering residential and/or hospitality projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant teams.
  • Strong programme management and reporting capability.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.

Desirable

  • Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent), or working towards chartership.
  • Experience administering NEC contracts.
  • Knowledge of JCT forms of contract.
  • Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
