An established and growing property-focused company is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support its finance function. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with prior accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be part of a small finance team responsible for ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and paid on time, while supporting wider finance and operational teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and coding supplier invoices accurately
- Managing invoice approvals and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and assisting with regular payment runs
- Handling supplier and internal payment queries
- Maintaining purchase ledger records and documentation
- Supporting intercompany transactions where required
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Monitoring shared finance inboxes and urgent payment requests
- Supporting cashflow monitoring and reporting
- Providing general administrative support to the accounts payable team
About You
You’ll be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You’re confident working independently but also enjoy being part of a team.
Essential requirements
- At least 1+ year’s experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
