We are seeking an experienced and qualified Site Manager to join our team, overseeing a variety of construction projects including new build developments, refurbishments, design and build schemes, demolition, and rebuild works across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
About the Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate trades, manage subcontractors, and liaise with clients, ensuring smooth project delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all site operations across new build, refurbishment, demolition, and rebuild projects
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
- Monitor project progress, quality standards, and budget control
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain accurate site records
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and the wider project team
- Resolve any site issues promptly and effectively
- Ensure all work is completed to specification and meets building regulations
Essential Qualifications
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Experience with design and build projects advantageous
