We're working on behalf of a top-tier residential developer to appoint a Technical Coordinator / Design Manager into what is genuinely one of the most exciting long-term regeneration opportunities currently underway in London.
This role sits within a Β£800m+ multi-phase masterplanned development delivering 1,800+ new homes, alongside commercial and community infrastructure.
This is not a package-management role. You'll be the technical lead for a major phase, stepping into a scheme where early groundwork has been completed, with full construction works underway within 18 months. During that period, you'll be heavily involved in planning of future phases, design coordination and statutory processes.
There is a clear route to Senior Technical leadership within 2 years for someone who proves themselves, ultimately overseeing multiple phases of the wider development.
You can be based from any London site or head office initially, offering flexibility ahead of construction starting on site.
Key Responsibilities- Leading the technical and design coordination for a major residential phase
- Managing planning applications for future phases
- Overseeing BSR submissions and statutory approvals
- Coordinating consultants across architecture, structures, M&E and fire
- Managing sectional agreements and technical risk
- Acting as the technical interface between internal teams and JV stakeholders
- Currently operating as a Senior Technical Coordinator or Design Manager
- Strong experience on large residential or mixed-use schemes
- Confident leading technical stages pre-construction
- Solid knowledge of M&E coordination, planning processes and BSR
- Comfortable taking ownership rather than managing small packages
- Β£60,000 - Β£70,000 salary (DOE)
