A leading property developer and main contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-specification residential and mixed-use schemes in Central London is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee Shell & Core delivery on a flagship development in South West London. You will take full ownership of the Shell & Core construction phase, ensuring all structural, concrete, and envelope works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all Shell & Core construction activities.
- Manage subcontractor packages across groundworks, frame, envelope, and associated infrastructure.
- Oversee health & safety standards and drive a positive site culture.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (Design, MEP, Commercial) to maintain seamless progress.
- Track programme milestones, manage risk, and proactively resolve issues.
- Ensure all works meet statutory requirements, design specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Report progress to senior leadership and maintain strong client and consultant relationships.
About You
- Proven experience delivering Shell & Core packages on large-scale residential or mixed-use schemes (£50m+).
- Background with a principal contractor or developer in high-rise environments.
- Background in Engineering.
- Strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge of structural systems and envelope coordination.
- Confident leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Health & Safety focused, with a commitment to quality and best practices on site.
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and relevant construction qualifications required.
