We are recruiting for a commercially astute and operationally sharp Team Leader to join a prestigious housebuilder on their stunning riverside development in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to lead sales on a high-quality development of 140 private homes, with a strong pipeline already in place and excellent earning potential.
With a project timeline running through to 2028 and beyond, you'll have the chance to make your mark on a significant development while enjoying greater autonomy and creative freedom than many corporate environments offer.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the sales function with commercial awareness and operational excellence
- Managing the full sales process including reservation paperwork and administration
- Overseeing landscaping and maintaining exceptional site presentation standards
- Ensuring the development maintains outstanding kerb appeal at all times
- Driving sales performance to meet ambitious monthly targets
- Successfully managing off-plan sales to maximise reservations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- Proven experience in new homes sales, ideally as a Senior Sales Consultant or Team Leader
- Strong understanding of sales operations and processes
- Confident handling off-plan sales
- Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working one weekend off per month
Highly Desirable:
- Experience at a smaller to mid-sized housebuilder where you’ve taken on senior responsibility
- International sales experience or exposure to international buyers
- Someone who thrives with autonomy and enjoys creative problem-solving
