Document Controller / Project Coordinator Central London - Oxford Street | £45,000 I'm currently working with a London-based developer who specialise in high-end commercial developments, working on the repurposing and redevelopment of large-scale buildings across the capital. They're looking for a Document Controller / Project Coordinator to join the team and take on a role that sits across document control, construction administration and general project support. This isn't a purely traditional Document Controller position. Alongside managing project documentation, you'll have the opportunity to get involved with the wider delivery and commercial side of projects, supporting the project and commercial teams across a range of duties. The role You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of project documentation, while also providing wider administrative and coordination support to the delivery team. Responsibilities will include: Managing and maintaining project documentation and information Uploading, issuing and distributing drawings, reports and other project information Managing document registers and ensuring information is kept up to date Supporting the wider project team with construction administration Assisting with commercial administration and maintaining relevant project records Supporting the Project Manager with general project coordination and administration Helping to monitor actions, deliverables and project information Liaising with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure information is issued and received correctly General project administration as required About you You'll ideally come from a Document Control or Construction Administration background, with experience working within a construction, development or consultancy environment. They're looking for someone who is organised and confident managing documentation, but who also wants a role with more exposure to the wider project. You'll need to be comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders, keeping on top of deadlines and taking ownership of your workload. Experience supporting a commercial team, Project Manager or construction team would be particularly useful. The key thing is having the right attitude and being keen to take on more responsibility beyond traditional document control. The opportunity This is a good opportunity to join a well-established developer working on high-end commercial schemes and the redevelopment of large-scale buildings in London, rather than purely fit-out projects. The role is based from their Oxford Street office, with a salary of £45,000. If you're a Document Controller looking to broaden your experience into project and commercial coordination, I'd be interested in speaking with you
